7. 24 days left until Tokyo

Like I promised I'll share my plans for the trip this time~!!

I bought the tickets earlier and my travelling days will be 16.2. and 16.5.! I'll stay exactly 3 months, because with the travelling visa you can only stay 90 days continuously. I got luck with the tickets, Finnair started a campaign just when I was going to buy them so the straight flights were only 590 euros(!!!), which is the cheapest I've ever heard of ;3

Sooooo I'll land in Narita on 17th February and then head for Setagaya, where my host family lives ;3 I'll stay there for about two weeks but from the 1st of March I've booked a room in this Nekotalo I already mentioned earlier, the place where only Finnish ppl can stay. My rent is quite expensive for such a small room, 80,000 yen a month for 19 square meters with a smaal kitchen and a tiny bathroom..... But for Tokyo I think it's not that bad at all, it's the most expensive city on the earth after all.

I did get a bit worried before when the woman who rents out the rooms didnt answer for two weeks but at last she returned my mail with quite a news: the room I was going to rent would go for a man who wants to stay for 6 months, so I'd have to change rooms. She was apologetic and told me the room I would get now wouldn't be free until 9th of March, so I'd have to stay in another apartment in the beginning.

She only had one 'room' left, so I'll have to start my stay in a 64-square meter-apartment with 3 rooms AND a kitchen AND a bathroom!!!! She also promised that Suski and Elina who'll come for a visit are allowed to the room with me and aaaaaaa this is just so great!! Just my luck haha! And now I just cant wait to get there already!!! I wont be charged extra either, though it would normally cost much much more :DD
Here's the room plan from Nekotalo's page, at first I was going to stay in 'Noora', but now that it changed I'll live in 'Kukka'. There are balconies too, it's the second floor ;333
And here's the 'room' she gave to me for the first 9 days!!!! AAAAA so gorgeous ;_;<3 it will be so much fun with Suski and Elina coming there too~ I'll just have to wish there will be no cancellations so I'll also get this apartment B)) all mine ;_;<343434

The house is located in Koenji, which is known for its punk-rock style, bars, restaurants and lively little streets even at nights~ So I wont even have to leave the station to go out or shopping etcetc~! Plus, it's only 15 minutes from Harajyuku and Shibuya so I'll save a lot in public transformation, which is extremely expensive in Japan >,<" The house, however, is 10 minutes from the station so I'm thinking of maybe getting a bike there... But we'll  have to see the actual place at first *ww*

I also sent an email to my Japanese teacher back from my exchange time and she promised to ask around if somebody knew a place that would hire me for the time 'www'

My budget for the trip isnt that big so probably I wont be able to buy that much stuff there D::: but but but we'll see! And if I'll get a job it will be totally different thing then :3 and if i wont, well, I'll just get to be lazy and meet my friends, maybe travel a bit, go to Kansai etc (never been there before!), and study for my entrance exams.

aaaaah I smell adventure already *www* the best thing is that here in Finland it will be crappy and meters of snow, but in Japan it's the best time of the year ;3

OH, and the GazettE just announced their 10-year-anniversary-gig and aösjufösdkfdskösl I JUST HAVE TO GET THE TICKETS ;;;_;;; I've gone to watch them live every time I've been to Japan so it kind of is a tradition already!!!!! And 10 years, seriously, they're starting to get old XDXDDXD

Yesterday we threw a little party at Suski's, tho not many ppl showed up XDD at first we were taking shots and listening to music just the two of us :__D but it was a lot of fun anyway! I decided to dress more girly and put my extensions on (I ordered them for my graduation party but hadn't used them otherwise). So here's a pic!!
Cute and so unlike me :D well well

My job at the school ended on Friday so now I'm all free of responsibilities XD nice to have more time but I still think I'll start making substitutements before Japan, some extra money. Tomorrow I'll have a driving lesson for the second part of the driving license and soon I'll have an official, final license :333 cant wait!! It's Monday tomorrow and I dont have to wake up early ;w;

6. Clothes, clothes, clothes

Uh, at least I've got some time for my blog again!! Seriously, it's been like hell lately, busy busy busy days and going to sleep absolutely too late. Well now I've accomplished my university application (the biggest reason for my hurries last week..) and got the last work week in the school now so I don't need to worry about deadlines ;3

This weekend I was full-booked too, the YFU orientation for those who'll leave for Japan and Korea soon was held~~ was a lot of fun again, I got to talk a lot and the best part is that you know all those students and their parents are dying to hear what you have to say n___n  I love the orientations and tho it's been a long time since my exchange, it always brings you closer to the memories when you tell about the stuff you went through!

On Sunday the week before we drove to Turku with Suski and Elina! Our friend Emma is studying there so we payed a day visit~ I was super tired cuz I had  hardly slept for two nights and kept on falling asleep during the day so Elina was kind to drive back haha. Maybe it was just good for security.
From a drink party last week~

Like I said on my last post I went to one of the biggest flee-markets of Helsinki on Saturday (7th haha.. already a week ago!). I found so much great stuff there and after that we still went and shopped some more with Kukka and my lilsister Iris who joined us. So like you can assume from the headline, I'll post some clothes I've bought recently! Some of them are from New Year's sales and the rest from the Saturday!

I shall present.... the Jacket of my Life ;__;
So perfect ;www;
At first I didn't even notice the inner core but then... skjaöfkjsödj<3<3<3 aa this must be love I feel. It's not real leather but it seems so good tho it's second-hand so it must be good material ;3 I paid 10 euros and regret nothing.

The next purchase!
I love the sleeves! It also has pads on shoulders (^,^) classy classy!
I didn't have any kind of formal suit jacket thing and had been thinking of buying one for years so there we go now! 5 euros.
I found this lamp with 2 euros ;_;<3 love it!!
One more jacket kinda thing hehe (my weakness) 3 euros.
Moomiiiiin container! Can't remember the price D:
Some shirts. The glittery cheetah couture top is bought new (5 euros on sales) and the two others I bought before in other second-hand place, both 2 euros ;::D
These I bought on sales too, 4 euros~
Red jeans, 20 euros on sales yey~!
Shoes 20 euros, shirt 9 euros
Aren't they just gorgeous ;w; And sporty! Can't wait getting to wear them (too much snow right now)!
Lately I've been crazy about furry stuff XD I bought a hat, a sleeve and a bag, all of which had fur on them.
I love all kind of hair products, so I bought these, 3 euros each~ It's really hard to find high quality hair spray in a tiny bottle so I'm very glad of this one!!
(too lazy to rotate the pic anymore, sryy XD) these are interesting! A very cheap and easy way to change the appearance of the shoes~

After all this shopping (there are some basic tops/t-shirts/accessories I was too lazy to upload here too) I've made a firm decision NOT TO BUY any clothes/accessory before going to Japan XD I'm not sure if I'll manage but we'll give it a try!
This isn't a new coat, but I just started using it again as it's been cold lately~ bought it in 2009 in Japan but I'm still madly in love with it lol and it is so warm!
I also bought some literature for my entrance exams.... wish me luck. The other book is so interesting, about the history of human network, but the other one is FINNISH GRAMMAR can you imagine?? Well well.

Today I went to have a coffee with a friend and then I've been just lazying around :D so nice to have nothing to do for a chance<3

I have progressed hugely on the whole Japan thing, so on the next post I'll concentrate on that! And  I can promise you it wont take this long this time, sorry! BTW TODAY ONE MONTH LEFT EXACTLY!! - yes, I've booked the flights :D:D:D

Have a productive week all of you!!

5. Tsydyttyttydyy~

It's only two days since my last post but feels like eternity..! So much happened and actually I've been doing nothing in particular XD

Well I've been making a huge progress in this whole moving to Japan thing, but no dates or places have been decided - yet. I found this Nekotalo (neko = japanese word for a cat, talo = finnish word for a house) that's located in Tokyo center, near Koenji station. It is a guest house ran by a japanese woman who used to study in Finland and only rents rooms for Finns! I've been mailing with her and she even speaks good Finnish! I've also been considering the dates of the flights and I'm quite sure I would be leaving on February 14th!

But as I said nothing is sure yet, but I have a feeling that I can make an assured post (okay one should never say something is definitive BUT) about this all in some days of time so just wait for that!!

One of the fellow employees of my mother was sick so at days I've been working -to collect some more money for the stay!- and on evenings I've been entertaining myself with shopping (well there the money goes again) and having film nights with my friends! Yesterday at Suski's:
Hahaha omg I just accidentaly uploaded the accidentaly took video XDDD lololol tell me why am I so derpy..!! But the idea was to take a pic of me with Neo (Suski's doggyy)  while we were dressed in exactly the same colors XD (we both even had just little white somewhere!) A cute couple would I say.

Today I met an old friend after a looooong time and it was nice to talk about everything and realize how different everything really is these days. Many of my friends are in a stable relationship, living by themselves, working, studying..... (And here I am, derping on my computer well hellou)

And I just came back to home, we went to watch the movie the girl with the dragon tattoo and it was GOOD. I liked it even more than the Swedish version, tho it was so hilarious how they had made it like they were Swedes omg XD Finnish-Swedish-love here we go again. But yeah, you all should go and watch it!! srsly

I've been buying so much recently, and I can't even feel the end coming any day soon... I thought I would go and check up some more sales and then on Saturday I've planned  to go to a big big second-hand store in Helsinki in Vallilla, never been there before~~ My poor closet, it cant be closed anymore D:: but I swear I'm wearing every single piece of clothe in there XD

Oh, and I got a surprise packet today!! We had received a note that said something had ben too big to fit into our postbox, so this morning I went to get it, I hadnt even been ordering anything so it was a great mystery :D This is what I got then~~

A package from German from the family I lived with the last summer (*ww*) It was a one month exchange program, I went to the school etc in Schwarzwald, the Southern German. I got my forgotten T-shirt back (yey) and then some chocolate, cute little cookies and hand&shoe warmers ;_;<3 and a letter! It was such a nice surprise, the best things come unexpected ;3 deeply moved right now! and isnt the package just so cute ;_;

So I've been just perfect, it's all been only good and wonderful coincidences lately so I'm just fearfully waiting what somebody has planned for me -___-""

I'll make a big style post after the weekend so you get to see all the clothes at the same time and not every post will be filled with them lol

Here you've got a song of the last couple days. It's all over the radio channels and stores and aosöadö it just keeps on playing in my head!!

Happy end of the holidays all, hope you have a good good time~

4. Happy New Year!!

So the day before yesterday I went to Erica's, her dad had that pre- New Years Eve party thing and she had invited some friends over too ♪  I live quite far away from the place so I drove there and gave up the drinking for the night hahaha

It always is a bit awkward to be the only sober person among all the drunks (not that it would happen that often XD) that are having such a good time laughing at everything and everyone but I managed, like a master! No, it was a nice evening and I love driving, particularly the feeling when u speed alone the nightly streets~~ The look of the day!

Then there was yesterday, the New Year's Eve! In the morning  I went to the work (not to the school, I have been cleaning the office where my mom works for about three years now) and later the same day we gathered to Erica's again before leaving for DTM and the party night!! Cuz of the big night the tram I took to Tehtaankatu (aka Erica's) had changed its usual route so I had to walk for 15 minutes instead of two seconds to get there, but I walked with a random (but attractive haha) woman who was heading near the same place so it wasnt that boring in the end B)

DTM was pretty crowded as it was the bar's last day at Iso Roobertinkatu so I got across with many unexpected acquaintances, which was nice tho! Since I've spent the last two New Years in Japan I'd have loved to see some amazing fireworks, but nobody was that keen on seeing them and all just wanted to be in the bar so I stayed with them and didnt go outside alone D:::

For me the fireworks are the thing that really make the New Year's Eve, but well, I've seen them many times already XDD So what's the big deal...!

New Year's Eve outfit! I love the jeans, I found them at last year's sales (Ginatricot). A bit like horse-riding pants~ the only minus is that they dont have any pockets >,<" The belt was bought in Japan, 109 part 2 has an amazing accessory store at the top floor that sells belts, caps and bags! Pure love, I have bought there two bags and other belts too<3

At the edge of the year when the screens started to show the time till the change it hit me. What had I been doing the whole year?? Normally in the end it feels you've achieved something. Something that would have changed your life. A lot of new friends, a new relationship, a new school maybe...

I couldnt think of anything.

The 2010 had been great, I had just got back from Japan and felt I lived more than ever, got many new friends and became more like the person I had always wanted to be. The 2009 was even more fabulous, my exchange had changed every single thing in my life. But 2011 was just... months and days that passed by. Sure, I had had a great deal of fun but nothing significant had happened in my life. PANIC.

So that's maybe a good start for 2012. I have finished my school and have no idea about the future so everything is possible and I'm sure this year will contain a lot of traveling and meeting exciting ppl that will change everything~

AND btw I just got an email from my host family today!!! Havent checked it out yet but I'm very excited wooooh!! What will it have to say??!?

If I should make a promise or wish etc for this year, I'd try to be more true to myself. Not to care about what others might think of you and do what feels right for you to do. It's my life anyways. My big problem is to think too much and let the critique let me down easily so that needs to be changed! I also decided to start a 'book' where i'd write one good thing of each day for the whole year :__D So in the end of 2012 I'd have 365 positive thoughts collected yey

The night had its ups and downs but the overall impression was good. I had whole a lot of drinks but not too much and I left the bar and got back by the 3:40 a.m.'s bus with Veera. I got to sleep at 5 am but it was okay since today is a day off~~~ welcome 2012 haha

And here some pics I couldnt upload in the last entry, from the B-day party on the 29th!!

All the amazing presents (   ´,`)~<3 Some nail jewelry and nail polish (the white one is graffiti) from Oona, three earrings (Emma had made the red shoe - ones by herself, my respectfulness), the coolest ring ever from Suski (see below) and the movie Burlesque I had wanted to see for some time from Kukka! Note also the amazing cards!! (one with the girl drawn by Kukka and the other one with the drunken fox by Suski)

To the foods *www* From above: Oona's tori no kara-age (deep-fried chicken), me and Suski's sukiyaki ;_;<3 (yeah all the food for two of us :___DD) and then the half of the eaters!!

This day I've been just watching the Big Bang Theory (I just ordered the box with all the 4 seasons :D) in my pajamas and took the dog out. She was still scared of the fireworks so she didnt want to go far but started to pull backwards to the direction of our home XDD you poor thing!!

So maybe tomorrow I'll go and check out some SALES! Or then I'll just continue my new eat-sleep-computer-eat-computer-sleep-computer -daily routine ha
